There was something really annoying I’ve been trying to figure out for the past 2 OR MORE YEARS!!, why does my god damn website MASSIVELY slow down at random times for no reason at all? This time!, I’ve finally figured it out! It was the stupid tracker I used to have. (The other torrent download link from before.)
It was insanely inefficient! Once it reached a certain amount of connections, around 35 000 to maybe 45 000, which was around the max it could actually handle, everything sloweddddd. Also, it doesn’t help that my tracker was “leaked” to the internet and thousands of random people started using it too…
But I replaced it now. The backend is snappier and I’m hoping that everything else will be snappy too. Plus, it’s literally like 1000x & up more efficient now (not joking).
As a result, the direct download should be faster as well. Edit: Nope, still slower than it should be. I’ll try something to see…
Edit 1: YES!!! It’s fixed now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Btw……… There’s currently 583258 people using the current tracker, yes over 500 000 (vs 35 000 with the other one). I don’t know how the hell this happened but… That’s a lot… Hmm… maybe I could move it to my “crappy backup server” to use even less resources… I definitely should.
